The hits just keep on coming for my Denver Broncos. I really do hate it and now we are sure to have the annual did he play well enough and will he retire drama. Ah well, It is Peyton "Freakin" Manning! Honestly, I don't know how to feel. I think I should be excited, but I'm not. I don't hate it either. I am worried that the risk is going to outweigh the reward..

I am seeing comparisons between Tebow and Manning. This cannot be. The styles are too different.

I had to fly out to N. Mex. again. Mom is not doing well, sadly. Flying home through Denver yesterday was very interesting indeed. How fun it was to have masses of people walking around me and all were making comments about my football team :D And! They weren't saying we suck and Elway screwed the Colts, LOL I went to the smoking lounge, got a beer and brought up MHR on my laptop. But I didn't get to read anything, heck I didn't need to. Everyone was talking Broncos :D I was in heaven! All the same opinions here were there. And I spoke mine, oh the debates.....

Will Tebow develop and become a great QB? I saw a comment this morning saying that Manning's rookie season was not impressive and the Colts lost a lot of games. The intention of the comment was to show that Tebow could be great. The reality is that the Colts sucked, they were bottom dwellers untill they got Manning. Manning made the Colts relevant in the same way Tebow fans say he has already made the Broncos relevant again. Except we were 70 to 1 odds to make the SB with Tebow. Tebow made the Broncos relevant to Broncos fans. He has a lot of work to do! Manning is a great QB, do you want to know why? Because he worked at it. I know I am going to get hammered for saying this but you dont' see video of Manning visiting sick kids, you see video of Manning doing footwork drills, and passing drills, and pocket drills. Manning studied the game, not model for underwear or fundraise for hospitals. Manning worked at being the best pocket passer ever, there are videos of him working out and interviews of him saying this was his goal. Tebow wants to save our souls and bring awareness to his causes. Tebow spends time visiting sick kids and making the world a better place. We need both men in this world but I think anyone looking to see Tebow become one of the greats in football, well, I think you are going to be disappointed.

Peyton Manning is a Bronco and we have a great chance of another exciting season and playoff run. I need to see some banners posted guys. Life is sunny, Life is grand. Living here in Lala land :D
