The Denver Broncos wasted no time in trading their starting quarterback from the 2011 season. One day after bringing Peyton Manning to the Denver Broncos, John Elway has traded Tim Tebow to the New York Jets, this according to FoxSports' Jay Glazer.
According to Glazer, the Broncos will receive a 4th round draft pick from the Jets.
Breaking news: Ny Jets have just traded a 4th round pick for Tim Tebow
— Jay Glazer (@JayGlazer) March 21, 2012
The news brings to an end the Tim Tebow-era in the Denver Broncos. Starting with what many considered a surprise 1st Round pick by Josh McDaniels in 2010, Tebow rose to the starting job with the Broncos and led Denver to it's first playoff win since 2005 last year with a thrilling 29-23 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While nasty words have been said by many through out all of this, I wish nothing but the best for Tim Tebow with the Jets - except when they play the Broncos - and hope it works out for him in New York.
