I have a few thought and want to hear what you all in Bronco land think as the news of the day is digested. While we morn the loss of a great person and a fun player to watch in Tebow, we have had someone else leave the team today who's presence will be missed. Bunkley went to the Saints to play next year on probation. That leaves our DT position in my opinion as the weakest on the team right ahead of MLB. The Joe Mays signing still puzzles me quite a bit as I wonder what he does on plays that he does not take the wrong hole or bounce off the runner to watch him gain an additional 5 yards.
The strategy that many are talking about know is that we will take a shot and a fairly high pick on a QB for the future. Right now we have no idea when the future will be. WE ALL hope that it is not soon as I hope that Manning is wonderfully successful in the Orange and Blue. I think that losing Bunkley today forces our hand to either make a bigger splash in FA or Draft a DT at #25. This forces us into a hole and limits what we can do. I am not as good as many of you of knowing who is left out there but I dont think there are many DT's in Bunkley's category left in FA.
So what do we do ladies and gentlemen? We also need a RB, MLB, a return man, a CB, depth on both lines and oh yeah a veteran back up QB or do we? I am so confused. This tornado of the last week has left me that way. Make some sense out of it all MHR.
