Let me start off by saying that this is not only my first Fan Post but also my first post on MHR. My names Rory and I am huge Broncos fan, have been all my life. I've been reading this sight for the past couple years and some of the things I've read in the last couple of days from people has me totally perplexed and flat out embarrassed for some of you.
Why are some of you so angry with our organization (John Elway, John Fox, Bowlen, Peyton Manning, etc) that you would wish injury to or ill will to its members? By all accounts I would assume that you are big Tim Tebow fans. But what I don't get is how you can put him up on a pedestal and say that he is a guy that you look up to, want to be like, want your kids to be like and then act in a manner that is so opposite of how Tim would/has acted. It confuses me. Why don't you instead ask yourself what would Tim Tebow do? If you decide that you are no longer a Broncos fan because of the decisions made by the organizations, fine. WWTTD? He said thank you very much for the opportunities and best of wishes. Why couldn't you do that?
How can some of you sit there and say Tim never had a fair chance? He was a 1st round pick. For that reason alone he was given more than a fair chance. The offense we ran was completely centered around his skill set. John Elway and John Fox were not there when he was drafted. They have no ties to him. Do you honestly think this is the first time a new regime came in and changed things up? Do you honestly think Tim Tebow is the first quarterback to land in this situation? No. Is he the only player on the Broncos who will be moved this year? No. What did Tim Tebow do? He thanked John Fox and John Elway for the opportunities. Why can you not do the same?
Look I don't want to turn this into more of rant than it already is. The main point I wanted to get across to all the lunatic, not his normal, fans is if he is such a good role model and strong figure in your life then why don't you start acting like it. I wish Tim well in New Jersey. I hope you bring stability to that franchise.
We're going Plan A!
