ENGLEWOOD, CO - MARCH 20: Quarterback Peyton Manning walks to the podium during the news conference announcing his contract with the Denver Broncos in the team meeting room at the Paul D. Bowlen Memorial Broncos Centre on March 20, 2012 in Englewood, Colorado. Manning, entering his 15th NFL season, was released by the Indianapolis Colts on March 7, 2012, where he had played his whole career. This is indeed great news. As alluded to in his introductory press conference, Manning is anxious to get to know his receivers and get into a routine. That apparently started today. Here's hoping that he can get into the swing of things before the first formal team workouts begin in April.
Looking at the pictures the Denver Post took, the intensity of Manning's face is impressive considering the informality of the practice.
This also appears to be the first time Manning has been photographed wearing Denver Broncos apparel. Getting used to him in orange and blue may not be as difficult as first thought.
