The Broncos have Justin Bannan, Kevin Vickerson, Ty Warren, and Ryan McBean at Defensive Tackle. Fox doesn't like to pick DT early. He knows what it is like to have Julius Peppers. Peyton Manning knows what is like to have Mathis and Freeney. Broncos fans know what our defensive line is like without Dummerville. We don't have much depth at defensive end and Ayers was drafted in a 3-4 defense. With their first pick in the 2012 NFL draft the Denver Broncos select:
#25 Nick Perry DE USC - 6' 3" 271 with a 4.5 forty. Bench = 35X
Imagine Perry, Dummerville, and Miller rushing the passer. Perfect defense for a Manning offense.
#57 Trumaine Johnson CB Montana
We just cut Goodman and Bailey isn't gonna last forever. He adds depth. Another perfect defensive pick for a Manning offense.
#87 Bernard Pierce RB Temple
4.5 forty 220 lbs. 27 touchdowns last year. Big vertical and broad jumps.
#108 Either Josh LeRibeus OG SMU or Michael Brewster C OSU
Kuper's injury looked bad. They might look for O-line depth with this position.
#120 Either Nick Toon WR Wisconsin or Marvin McNutt WR Iowa
whomever is available Manning will make them look good. I like McNutt better b/c I've seen him more.
#137 Derek Wolfe DT Cincinnati
Defensive Tackles are projects. He adds depth and a foundation for the future. Low risk. Tampa Bay drafted two DTs two years ago, two DEs last year and they still need depth at defensive line.
#188 I would like the readers to pick this one between:
Nick Foles QB Arizona
Tommy Streeter WR Iowa
Vontaze Burfict ILB ASU
