30. With the 30th selction the Denver Broncos select Kendall Reyes DT, UCONN

Kendall Reyes is the top available DT on my board at the 30th pick. Reyes demonstrates great ability at the point of attack, he sheds blocks well and is a powerful player. He has room in his frame to add a few more lbs. especially to his lower half. Many of the things he struggles with such as pass rush moves and pad level can be helped and corrected. He is a great team player and has tremendous work ethic. I would not be upset with picking Brandon Thompson here either, but not Jerel Worthy, the more i watch film from Worthy the more i dislike him as a prospect.

57. The Denver Broncos select Mike Martin DT, UM

I would love for Brandon Thompson to fall here but I just do not think he will. Martin plays very similar to Thompson i believe and really could excel playing NT in a 4-3. He was extremely impressive in one-on-one situations and dominated the Senior Bowl. I know i would rather see more on game tape but Martin has a great motor and is strong at the point of attack. He has incredible strength especially his hands, he never stops moving and being a pest to offensive lineman.

87. The Denver Broncos select Robert Turbin HB, Utah State

The first time I even heard about Turbin was here on MHR back in January I think and he wowed me with his combination of size and speed, he could give Trent Richardson a run for his money with the kind of upper body strength he has, he is as he likes to call himself, the incredible hulk. His past injuries are always a concern, but he has tremendous upside and the Broncos desperately need more help at RB. Is good on third down and catching the ball out of the backfield or even lining up in the slot.

92. The Denver Broncos select Sean Spence OLB, UM

Despite already having DJ and Woodyard as WILL linebackers, Spence is a player i think EFX would just love to have. He fits the Fox mold of linebacker and is great in coverage and has superb instincts. I love Spence too because his potential to even play SS. Right now we have Quinton Carter, David Bruton, Mike Adams and Rahim Moore as our group of safeties. Theres not a lot of talent here and it would be nice to have such a versatile player such as Spence. I think Spence is great because of his potential to cover guys like Jimmy Graham, Aaron Hernandez and other big athletic TEs. Xanders has already talked up Spence as a prospect he loves and I think he could definitely be a Bronco.

108. The Denver Broncos select DeQuan Menzie CB, Bama

DeQuan Menzie has been one of my favorite mid/late round corner back options since watching nearly every Alabama game last fall. The 5'11 200 lb. corner is one of my favorites because of his tenacity and versatility. He has experience on special teams returning and plays well in zone or man and has the ability to blitz and tackle soundly. Menzie has not gotten much love on MHR but I will stick to my guns on this guy hes a player, Nick Saban coached and loves the game. Would love to hear thoughts on Menzie because I noticed many of you had knocks on him.

120. The Denver Broncos select Jack Crawford DE, PSU

The 6'4'' 275 lb DE from Penn State has shown flashes of greatness throughout his college career and throughout the Senior Bowl as well. Crawford had 40 tackles 7.5 for loss and 6.5 sacks. We need depth at DE and i think Del Rio and company can groom this guy to possibly take Robert Ayers place in the future.

137. The Denver Broncos select Will Blackwell OG/C LSU

The 6'3'' 315 lb. offensive lineman has experience at right guard as well as center. He has started for LSU the past 2 seasons and was 1st team all SEC last year. I really like his developmental potential. I dont think we need any rookie offensive lineman protecting Peyton this year, but definitely young competition, and I like Blackwell's game.

Well there it is. The goal of the draft and hopefully the Broncos' goal is to get better in pass defense. I added 3 defensive lineman, a corner, and a versatile linebacker/safety prospect. On offense i think we need OL depth and a running back or two. I am not against but defnitely not for drafting a WR early. I look down the Broncos' roster and i like the group of wideouts and tight ends we have. I think we need to add balance in the running game and then keep building the Orange Crush. Let me know your thoughts. And btw my DT rankings go as follows, Cox, Brockers, Still, Poe, Reyes, Poe, Thompson, Worthy. Poe has potential but needs a lot of coaching, a lot.
