2012 Undrafted Free Agents Please read BRONCO Country!

In 1983 my father was a undrafted free agent out of Minot State North Dakota. He was a standout 2x All American on defense, Started at Offensive tackle his freshman year in college at 225lbs. His next season he moved to the other side of the ball playing defensive tackle and outside linebacker at 6'3" 265lbs his 40yd dash was a 4.8, 27 on bench press 225lbs, 27in vert. He signed with the Denver Broncos as and offensive guard they wanted to utilize his quickness and power for pulls and traps. He would tell stories that guys at camp thought he was signed as a FB because of his burst of the line. Coming from a small town of Plentywood Montana he was a small fish in a big pond so to speak but Unfortunately he was cut right before the season opener. I was looking over his contract that he kept and i notice his signing bonus was only $5,000 which didn't seem like a lot but now after looking at the broncos 2012 signings I'm a bit surprised especially with the all the research in concussion damage and the risk of the game.

Thanks for reading broncos FANS!
