Looks like Jets are thinking outside the box. A look through NFL history shows true innovators set new standards and the pace for the rest of the league, think Hank Stram, the 49ers, and Air Corriell.
Say what you will about Rex Ryan he has demonstrated a willingness to think outside the box. Last year's loss to the Broncos, much to the individual last minutes efforts of Tebow, appears to be the driving force to the Jets trading a 4th round pick for him. This may turn out to be the "best 4th round trade of all time"!
Tebow was never and most likely never will be a prototypical pocket QB. His success will be predicated on some coach/organization (one with some vision) designing offensive plays suited to his "unique" abilities and it just may be the Jets. My guess is we'll see a two QB system the like the NFL has never seen. Will the day come where we lament "what could have been?", we'll see.
Normally, I'm a "one team" fan, that being the Broncos, but Kube's and the Texans have captured my attention and, now, the Jets. This should be a REALLY fun year to watch football!
