Things to do in Denver when you're

A visitor from out of town, state and country...

I've mentioned before that while I am regular on MHR, I seldom post or comment on the site, mainly because I'm a massive fence sitter, and am always too busy looking at pro's and con's from all angles to ever worry about arguing heatedly for one side. (Although, if you wanna talk about why you guys call it football...haha)

That aside, I've been a Bronco fan my whole life, I live in Sheffield, England, and as a kid I had an Uncle who did quite a bit of travelling for work, and he eventually settled down in Denver, so regular for birthdays and Christmas' I would be sent Broncos memorabilia/shirts etc, my facebook profile pic is currently me at 4 years old in a Broncos jumper, I had a John Elway cake for my 7th birthday, blah blah, big fan, you all get it.

So this, my 30th year on the planet, I am finally realising my dream of coming over to Denver to see a game (I did see them in London against San Francisco a couple years back, that's just not the same) and am basically wondering if a few of you locals can point me in the right direction for things to see whilst there (my uncle has since moved on, and is currently residing in Tampa)

Now, It is a very short visit, I will only be in Denver for 5 nights, and will then be off to Texas for a week, The plan is to arrive Friday 21st of September, see the Texans@Broncos game on the Sunday, and will be leaving on Wednesday the 26th. The Rockies are at home all week, so I defo plan on taking in a game or two at Coors, I guess I'm just after info on places to shop/drink/sightsee etc, maybe catch a gig if anyone happens to be playing, any public golf courses that do club rental???

This been my first post, time to hit the Publish button and see if it reads right or if I've created a wall of text like so many people seem to do :)

Cheers guys.
