Back to the point. Besides the fact that Stokely has experience with Manning, i don't understand the thinking behind dumping Royal (who is entering his prime AND can return kicks) for a 36 year old player who plays the same position (on a limited basis) who has played less than 15 games the past two seasons.

Like i said, i aint' haintin' on Stokes( God bless his deflection catching heart!). But seriously, Royals' upside and versatility was so much more.

Remember those two kick returns against SD a season ago? NO WAY Stokes could ever do that! I think they are both the same threat out of the slot, with Royal having a huge speed advantage.

Anyway, i aint' mad. I luv both these guys. I just see Royal having a great career here now that he has someone to actually deliver. I also think manning would luv to throw to Eddie.
