Fox said Caleb Hanie will be re-signed. "It was procedural."

According to Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos are re-signing QB Caleb Hanie. It's not a huge surprise, he was released Saturday so the Broncos didn’t have to guarantee his $1 million salary or pay him a $250,000 roster bonus. Once Hanie is officially signed, the Broncos will have to make a roster move. They will probably place DT Ty Warren on the IR, which would open up a spot for Hanie on the roster.
Hanie will become Peyton Mannings main backup on game days, and rookie QB Brock Osweiler will be the Broncos emergency QB going forward.
