September 17, 2011 - The Broncos placed DT Ty Warren on Injured Reserve, ending his first season in Denver without playing a single regular season game. He restructured his contract in 2012 but once again ended up on the Injured Reserve list and will miss the 2012 season. Warren was replaced on the active roster by RB Jeremiah Johnson.

Johnson was signed to the active roster on 9/17/11. After not handling the ball in the Broncos game versus Cincinnati on 9/18, Johnson was waived on 9/20/11. He was signed to Denver's practice squad on 9/22/11, but once again found himself signed to the active roster on 11/14/11. He played in Denver's last seven games of the 2011 season. He amassed a less than impressive 14 carries for 77 rushing yards and 7 catches for 62 receiving yards. Johnson was waived once again on 8/31/12, but was re-signed to the Denver practice squad on 9/1/12.
