1994 "Superheros"
This morning I found this posted by a Facebook friend and former Rocky Mountain News Sportswriter Sam Adams. He explains that this photo, taken by John Leyba, was for the 1994 NFL Preview for the Denver Post. With Super Bowl aspirations the Broncos finished 7-9 that season.
Mike Pritchard, Rod Bernstine, John Elway, Shannon Sharpe, and Anthony Miller
As I remember, Pritchard and Bernstine were always hurt, and Miller never lived up to his production he had in San Diego.
Great photo though. Elway looks like a young pup for sure.
