September 21, 1969 -- Denver upset the defending Super Bowl champions, the New York Jets. In this game, Denver had fallen behind 13-0 after one quarter, but took a 14-13 lead into the locker room at the half. The Broncos extended their lead to 21-13 in the 4th quarter. The Jets rallied for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to make it 21-19, but a 2-point conversion failed, leaving Denver victorious.
