Another Lackluster game for the Broncos in Texans loss

A pattern of failure in the first half that began by the offense last week, continued again this week

as Denver's defense collapsed in the first half against the Texans. The Texans held onto win by 31 to 25.

The 60 yard TD pass by Andre Johnson over Tracy Porter exemplified Houston's dominance in the first half. Then
Schuab had another TD pass to Walter over Tracy Porter again.

Manning at times during the first half and the third quarter played a lot like Kyle Orton used to. You could see he was making a lot of effort but there was little, if anything, to show on offense. Obviously, the 2.5 sacks and relentless pressure by JJ Watt--hurried Manning all day.

Manning and the Bronco offense did start to play fairly well in the fourth quarter. Manning had 2 TDs on passes to Stokley and Dreessen. The deflected catch by Dreessen was a real highlight moment great catch.

Manning had 330 yards passing and 2 TDs. Schuab had 4 TDs, 290 yards and 1 interception. Foster ran for 105 yards which is just an average day for Foster.

The Broncos really need to work on their pass coverage and pass rush next week. The Broncos offense needs to play well for four quarters and not just play catch up in the fourth quarter.
