The general consensus around these parts is that Joe Mays is awful. He's terrible in coverage, and not much better at diagnosing a play. His only redeeming quality is he hits like a mack truck, and if he's not where the ball carrier is, that's not much use.
Is DJ Williams the answer? His natural position is at will, but Woodyards been undeniable in his debut, and I think the lineup of Miller/Williams/Woodyard is a much better linebacking core than Miller/Mays/Williams. He wouldn't be playing his best in that position, but for the good of the team it seems to make sense, especially in this pass happy league.
What do you think? Should Williams replace Mays? Should Woodyard move to Mike and let Williams take his natural position? Should we do something I've yet to think of? Should I stop typing?! Answer!!
