John Fox plays scared and he isn't a very good head coach, he's a very conservative head coach.
We gave Fox WAY too much credit for last seasons supposed turn-around. He didn't want to turn to TT, but was forced to from fan pressure, and he was sure the results would be disastrous.
He botched the handling of Tracy Porter, and Knowshon Moreno. Everyone praised Fox for "stashing Moreno" because he wasn't fully healthy. If that statement is true, then he was an idiot to play him early on in the pre and reg season. Looked like Kuper should have been stashed one more game. He wasn't ready.
Overachievers rarely continue to produce consistently. Porter was held out for weeks on the concussion BS after being held out by a legitimate medical issue. Coaches who use doghouses hurt the team by trying to make a point to one player.
Sometimes when you make a mistake, you need to get right back on the horse, not sulk in misery. I hope Oz is the real deal, because Manning's skills could decline rapidly. He was great all season long, and I hope he can go out like Elway and retire after winning back-to-back Super Bowls after a #1 seed upset.
Still love the Broncos... Just not our head coach. Are there any other Harbaugh siblings? I'll take their sister if they have one. A woman would have more balls than John Fox.
