As excruciatingly painful as this loss is, all a fan can do is look towards next year. While scrolling through sports sites, I came across This Article about Armond Armstead. If Shefter is to be believed, the Broncos are not one of the teams working him out. I find this dissapointing, as Armstead would help a position of need, come at a low cost, and we are currently among the more atractive teams for FA so we might have a shot. Recent success stories from CFL stud to the NFL include Freeman and Wake, making this idea even more enticing. Plus signing Armstead would leave us with a lot more flexibility going into the draft, as we'd have a young high potential DT already in the fold.
