Gase may work well at Offensive Coordinator

The promotion of Adam Gase to the Offensive Coordinator position makes sense given that he has learned a lot from Mike McCoy (who is coaching SD), and he works well with Peyton

Manning. There were obviously more experienced coordinators available like Ken Whisenhunt,

but they would have wanted total control.

Its probably a good idea to have Manning call a lot of his own plays at this stage in his career, and Gase will facilitate that.

Denver finished fourth in total offense in yards per game at 397.9 yards which was behind New England at 427.9 and New Orleans at 410.9.

The Broncos finished fifth in total passing regular season at 283 yards per game, and New Orleans was first at 312 yards per game.
