Revis is all the rave right now. He's hot. Trending. With the style of defense Denver plays this would definetly increase the chances to the Super Bowl exponentially. However, there is one player that can definetly take Denver further after such a promising season filled with growth. I'm talking about Mike Wallace the dynamic WR that is a FA and unlikely to resign with the Steelers.

I know Revis would improve the defense and regardless what happens to Champ Bailey. Denver wasn't beat because they couldn't stop the run but because of key passes to extend drives. Sure those long passes don't help either but Revis would be the ideal talent to get more out of the defensive schemes come playoff time.

Mike Wallace would add a level of offensive terrorism. Whether Decker, Thomas or Wallace are in the slot this would be the ideal threat to the NFL pass defenses league wide. Provided Moreno and McGahee match their previous performances I can see this type of offense setting all sorts problems.

Now the way I see it Denver has a solid offense. The interior line can use some talent and upgrades in the depth department. RB is also a position of need simply because Moreno and McGahee style of running lead to injuries and its unpredictable to anticipate when either will get hurt. Most importantly, a RB that's capable of pass blocking is by far the more critical attribute as Manning does pass more frequently.

Denver's defense is the reason we were able to rip off such impressive feats such as an 11 game winning streak and shutting teams out during the second half of the games 80% of the time (I made that stat up by the way but wouldn't be surprised if it were in line or higher). Interior girth and athleticism would make the DL much more formidable and adding another passrusher, regardless if its a DT/DE would free up the Godly like talent that is Von Miller.

If money and draft picks are not an issue I'd go the route of Revis. Denver's offense will be that much more better next year now that Manning shook off the rust and got acquainted with his new home. Revis literally shuts down a WR. Whether we move Champ or keep him altogether is something that can be addressed at that time. Defense is where we make our bones and the draft is where we can address some moving parts.
