As we get towards the Super Bowl and the Manti Te'o story/scandal/whatever keeps chugging along. I am wondering what the general sense is regarding Te'o. His draft stock has appeared to plummet in the past few weeks where he will likely be available in the 1st Round at where the Broncos are picking. I have longed for a star caliber MLB ever since Al Wilson had to retire and this year seems to be maybe when Denver goes after that position. My opinion is that we should draft Kevin Minter out of LSU if he is available, if not, would you draft Te'o. While I was more impressed with Minter just because I believe he has performed at a high level against much better competition than Te'o, which is why I think he will turn out to be a better pro. But despite Te'o horrible game in the BCS championship and maybe the burden of his crumbling fake/real relationship had something to do with that, there is no denying he has the physical talent to be a very good MLB in the NFL. Now comes to the crux of my question, based strictly on my opinion, I believe that Te'o is gay. I personally don't have a problem with that, and I believe that there are likely gay players in the NFL as that with any population you are bound to statistically have a certain amount of gay players in the NFL. Likewise, I think the majority of players probably don’t have an issue with it provided they don’t have to answer questions about it (don’t ask/don’t tell policy). However; we all know that the NFL is probably one of the last places where an openly gay or suspected gay player could operate without some form of persecution from some of his teammates. So with that as a premise, would you consider or think it was a good move to take Te'o if he comes with the potential baggage or do you say, he is a player that can help us win games and bottom line you want players who can help you win games? What would you do and why?

No, he has talent but too much baggage to risk upsetting the locker room (19 votes)
Maybe, need to see who is out there, but if he falls and the value is there, it is worth the risk based on the talent (75 votes)
