A Divisional Round Victory.

January 7, 1990 - The Broncos hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Divisional Round playoff game. The Steelers jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the second quarter. Denver narrowed the lead to 10-7 when RB Mel Bratton scored on a 1-yard run. Pittsburgh extended the lead to 17-7 but the Broncos were able to narrow it to 17-10 at the half on a 43-yard field goal by David Treadwell. Denver tied the score at 17-17 in the third quarter but the Steelers edged out in front. First 20-17 in the third quarter then 23-17 in the fourth. Bratton scored his second touchdown on another 1-yard run to give Denver a 24-23 victory.
