It's Mile High Time for Bronco Fans to Shine

Thanks to John Elway for turning our favorite team around in a shorter time frame then anyone expected. Already, this is arguably the most complete Broncos team from FO to SP that has ever taken the field. This is the best team in the NFL from top to bottom. This is the most complete team in the NFL from top to bottom....But the fans are weak.

There is no real glaring short comings or any rookies starting at key positions for this Broncos team. There are no 1st time coaches calling the shots and the Broncos team has done what it needed to do to earn a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs! Which is what Bronco fans wanted, expected for their favorite team because there is a perception that playing at 5280 against Peyton Manning's "Hurry, Hurry" up offense and arguably the best Denver defense since the 1970s is some sort of advantage for the Broncos. Well to be honest, it is what you make of it.

We know that the Broncos will show up prepared, focused and ready to win. This is not the Mike Shannahan lead '96 team that he allowed to look past the Jags. This is the John Elway, John Fox, Jack Del Rio lead Denver Broncos. Peyton Manning and the offense will squeeze every ounce of oxygen out of the Ravens defense. We know this. What we don't know is, will Bronco fans show up? For those of you that went to games at the old mile high, you know that the new mile high is not very loud. Some of that is poor design but most of that is the fault of the fans. I understand that home games have been watered down by corperate types and out of towners that now live in Colorful Colorado and only go to the game to suck face, get drunk and talk business. Well there is no room for sucking face and talking bidness anymore folks. It's time for the fans to stomp, clap and yell at the top of their lungs while the Ravens offense is on the field. I am embarrassed and appalled when I go to games at Mile High to see "Bronco fans" sitting quietly and motionless while the visiting offense is on the field and on the huddle. You are disappointing. There are also those that will allow the visitors to "take the crowd" out of the game. Well that's a lazy crowd. If for some unknown, inexplicable reason the game is close or something doesn't go the Broncos way during the game....stay loud people. Don't give up, your Broncos will not.

It is Mile High time and long, long overdue for Bronco fans to do their part and make a difference at Denver home games. Cliff note for you new bee fans and you lazy fans....You clap your hands, stomp your feet and yell at the top of your lungs when the Ravens offense is "in" the huddle and while they are at the line! That is what you are there for, you can make a difference, believe it or not, you can make a difference, so don't blow your chance to make a difference and be a part of another Broncos playoff victory. Cumulatively this clapping, stomping and yelling will only go on for a few minutes of your life. For some perspective, there are only a few minutes of actual action during an entire NFL game! So it's not like I want you to subject your lazy self to some sort of torture, cheering is the least you can do. The good news for you lazy fans is that you can and should keep your mouths shut, sit on your hands and keep your feet still while Peyton Manning and the offense are "in" the huddle and on the line. And stay off of your damn phones during the game too. You do not need to be tweeting, tapping, texting and surfing while in the stands. Control yourself for 60 minutes for Tebow's sake, you'll find that it is actually therapeutic. Waste your time doing that crap in your own home! If caught on your phone while the Ravens are in the huddle or at the line, you should be ejected. You are worse than a belligerent, drunk fan of the visiting team.

Current Bronco fans are lame compared to Bronco fans of old and need to step it up starting this weekend. I know that our favorite team and fan base has been through a lot negativity in the past few years but it's Mile High time to come back together and make some damn noise for our boys in Orange! I encourage you to encourage fans around you to make some noise too. Don't be an A-hole about it but your enthusiasm is contagious! btw I have no idea what is up with the formatting
