The best thing I can say about last week is that we won. The next best thing is that Madden has been spot on, which should be a good thing for us this week. (Spoiler alert!)
Unfortunately, this week I had no friends who are Jags fans, so it was back to playing against the AI. Broncos current Madden rating is 90 and the Jags is..... well....... not. The results this week reflect that fact.
Final Score: Jacksonville 10, Denver 42
This game followed the script we saw during the first three of the first four weeks of the season where we saw the Broncos start slow, only to pull away in the second half. The first quarter was scoreless, but the Broncos scored the first points in the second quarter. The Jags tied it up, but Denver scored again before the half to take a 14-7 lead into haftime. Holliday took the second half kickoff 83 yards to start Denver inside the Jacksonville 25 and two plays later, the Broncos were in the endzone. Jacksonville scored a field goal on their next possession and after that, it was all Broncos.

This week's sims showed overall dominance by the Broncos, with one fluke win by the Jags.
Sim 1: Jacksonville 7, Denver 39
Sim 2: Jacksonville 13, Denver 34
Sim 3: Jacksonville 22, Denver 34
Sim 4: Jacksonville 19, Denver 12
Sim 5: Jacksonville 17, Denver 34
Sim average: Jacksonville 16, Denver 31
Overall average: Jacksonville 18, Denver 33
Madden's sims predict a comfortable win, while the play-through predicts an absolute blowout. Assuming the Broncos do not phone it in this game, I would be somewhat surprised if we don't hang another 50! This offense is a treat to watch. Madden so far this year is picking perfectly with a record of 4-0. GO BRONCOS!!!
