When your winning, there's a tendacy to overlook a multitude of sins. Lose a big game by 6 points, and the critics really come out of the woodwork. That said, the Colts game was a pretty monumental melt-down and much of the critcism is likely warranted. Some of the issues in the Colts game were not personnel related, but clearly we have some glaring concerns relating to our injury riddled offensive line, RB, MLB (since Woodyard's injury), plus, could we use another pass rush specialist? Obviously there may not be many upgrades available in terms of free agents, so will the front office see a need compelling enough to act in a more agressive way such as trading a player, picks, etc.?
I think if I had to bet, I'd say they just roll with what they have, especially in light of the return of some key players such as J.D. Walton, Franklin, Woodyard, Ayers getting fully healed, Von getting in "football shape", etc. However, we are in "win now" mode, with not many "bullets" left in Peyton Manning's gun. Peyton has already fired last year's bullet and missed making the Super Bowl with us this past season, so what do you think? Please discuss, and do so both in terms of specific options you feel would make sense, and options that are likely to be acted upon.
