FanPost

I hope this isnt typical.

Now I will be the first to admit, I am not the perfect fan. In fact, even though I'm bleeding Denver orange, I'm more of a player fan than a team fan. Been that way since I was a kid. I fell in love with the Broncos when Terrell Davis was a rookie. A couple of years pass and Marshall Faulk followed by PFM, Edgerrin James, and Harrison made me a die hard Colts fan for the past 11 or so years. I came back to the Denver fan club the moment Peyton signed. I'm a huge football fanatic. Before I get to far ahead, I want to thank my fellow Denver fans for allowing me to come on here for news, rumors, and a place to hoot and holler. Like most of you on here, I can name the entire Denver roster with out looking it up. What concerns me is the "type" of fans I've come to find on here. When the Broncos are playing I check in and out of the open game thread. THERE SEEMS TO BE A LOT of fair weather, the sky is falling fans. Like it's really sickening. Before today we were 6 and 1! During the 2nd quarter of the game, so many fans were complaining, over reacting, even saying they wouldn't be shocked if we didn't win another game this season! REALLY?? It wasn't even 3rd quarter and some were turning the game off! It's not secret we're a second half team so why all the fuss? Frankly, I don't care to be on the thread unless we're winning. Even my last season being a Colt fan (2-12 season) those threads weren't as negative as this can be when we're losing. Now I'm not trying to talk down on anyone but where are the logical, calm fans at? I live in Oklahoma and the only NFL game I've ever been to was a week 16 game in Denver, vs the Colts about 8 years ago. Being a visiting fan, all of the Denver fans were polite and respectful during the entire game, even as the Colts were winning. So I know there are good Bronco fans out there. Is it just me? Or am I over reacting?
