Brady holds the edge against he Cowboys with an undefeated record to go along with a better statistical record almost across the board.  The biggest difference between the two quarterbacks in this comparison are turnovers.  Brady has none.  While Manning started off well against the Cowboys, his last two games have been riddled with mistakes as he's thrown for 6 interceptions. Peyton has a chance to pull to a winning record against the Cowboys this Sunday.

Brady finally managed to get his team past the 30-point mark for the season.  Despite a terrible start to the regular season, he has put together two solid games in a row.

Peyton, well, just another record breaking day on the field.  He is a real threat to break Aaron Rodgers' record for highest passer rating in a single season (122.5).

Looking Back, Peyton's two losses against the Cowboys

Tony Romo's 1st start

The word of the day is turnovers.  Marvin Harrison fumbled first near midfield, killed a drive. Next drive Peyton Manning was strip sacked near midfield, killed a drive.  Next drive, a pass intended for Dallas Clark is tipped and intercepted at the Dallas 4, killed a drive (by the way, the score is 0-0 at this point).  At the end of the 2nd quarter Peyton leads the Colts on a 88 yard TD drive 7-0.

To begin the 3rd quarter, Peyton throws a pick-six, then finds Dallas Clark for a TD to go up 14-7.  The very next drive, the Cowboys grind a 70-yard TD drive mostly on the ground to tie the game.  And force a Colt 3-and out.  A couple of nice passes by Tony Romo put the ball into Colt territory where Marion Barber punched it in, 21-14 Cowboys.  Next Drive is turned over on downs at the Cowboy 8 after an incompletion, Cowboys win.

Shootout in Indy

The Coyboys picked off Peyton twice in the 1st half (included a pick 6) which led to 10 points and 17-7 halftime lead.  Coming out of halftime, the Colts pulled to within 17-14 on a TD pass to Reggie Wayne.  After trading possessions, Peyton threw yet another pick 6, this time to Sean Lee.  The next drive the Colts score to make it 27-21.  After a punt blocked for a TD and a brief 28-27 Colt lead, the next drive almost proved to be a backbreaker.

24 plays and over 10 minutes off the clock in the 4th, Jon Kitna found Jason Witten for the go ahead TD.  Two-point conversion is good, Cowboys lead 35-28.

With 2:34 left in the game, Peyton engineered a 10 play drive where he completed six straight passes and the Colts sent the game to overtime 35-35.  Peyton and the Colts got the ball first but were forced to punt after 4 plays.  On their 2nd possession of overtime, Peyton threw his 4th and final pick of the game giving the Cowboys possession on the Colt 36 yardline.  David Buehler made a game winning kick and the Cowboys were victorious 38-35.

Moral of the Story???

The Colts were the superior team the last two times they met.  Just like it will be tomorrow night.  But too many turnovers evened the playing field for Dallas and they capitalized.  Bottom line, if the Broncos can avoid turnovers, they will win.
