Hey guys, I'm not here to debate who's better, but to get the pulse of the Broncos fans' unique perspective on this rivalry.
Since you guys have only had Manning for less than 2 years, you probably don't have the same die-hard attachment that Colts fans have to him. No self-respecting Colts fan would ever admit that Brady is better, even if Brady wins another 7285 Superbowls, and the same goes for Pats fans and Manning.
But you guys were on the outside of this debate for over a decade. While I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of Broncos fans felt Manning was the better QB before he joined the Broncos, I would be if 100% if you did, like the Colts fanbase would be. So I have a few questions related to that:
Are there any of you who felt Brady was better before Manning joined the Broncos, but changed your minds afterwards? Are there any of you who felt Brady was better before, and still do? Are there any of you who don't really have a strong opinion either way, and still kind of consider yourselves outside the Brady/Manning rivalry?
Edit: Let me rephrase the question, because I think any mentioning of Brady vs. Manning seems to inspire people to take up a side either way, which isn't really what I'm looking for.
- Do you feel as if you have a real stake in Manning's legacy like say Colts fans always will, and feel a need to defend/praise him when it comes to his place as an all-time greats, or do you just appreciate that he's playing for you, but won't go out of your way to support him more than most Broncos players?
