If the Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) can defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers (5-8) on Sunday Night Football this evening, they will be in position to claim in the AFC's No. 2 seed. Meanwhile in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs (10-3) are currently the No. 5 seed and second place in the AFC West.
If the Broncos can win out by defeating the Houston Texans (2-11) in Week 16 and the Oakland Raiders (4-9) they will finish the year 13-3, winning the AFC West and claiming the AFC's top playoff seed, securing home field advantage in the playoffs.
In Miami on Sunday afternoon, the Patriots were trailing 24-20 with seven seconds remaining and faced a 4th-and-five. Quarterback Tom Brady's pass was intercepted in the end zone and the Dolphins held on for the win.
The Broncos now control their playoff fate once again.
