Last Meeting - Sunday, September 23rd, 2012

Much like this meeting, the Broncos defense was in disarray. Joe Mays and Tracy Porter were starters that had shown big play potential, both making them and giving them up. The defense was shredded early on and the Texans raced out to a 31-11 lead before the offense came alive and made it close in the 4th quarter. Ultimately the Broncos lost 31-25 and the team started off an inconsistent 1-2 to begin 2012.

What's Different?

Gary Kubiak was fired, Wade Phillips is the interim Head Coach, both Arian Foster and Ben Tate are on injured reserve, Matt Schaub has played terribly, and while that defense has played tough--the Texans find themselves on the inside track to the #1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

Denver on the other hand is firing on a historic pace offensively, giving up too many points on defense, and lacking the overall consistency an 11-3 team should have at this point in the season.

Peyton Manning is still calling the signals, and if the past is any indication of the future, will give Houston all they can handle on Sunday.

GO BRONCOS!!!
