Surprisingly, today is the first time all season long that the Denver Broncos have matched up against an opponent in the early slot of Sunday. It is important today for Peyton Manning and the Broncos to take care of business and win these final two games to secure homefield advantage. The Houston Texans may have the worst record in football, but they have to be the most talented 2-12 football team in NFL history.
Welker Out: Broncos and Texans Inactives
The Denver Broncos look like they will be without both Wes Welker and Derek Wolfe for the rest of the regular season. Better to be safe than sorry for a deep playoff run.
As for the rest of the NFL, there are several very interesting matchups today. The biggest for Broncos fans has to be the showdown between the Indianapolis Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Colts have a tendency to beat the best teams in football, but I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow lose to the Chiefs today. It's been that kind of year for Kansas City where everything seems to go just perfectly for them.
Easily the biggest game in the NFL today is the battle for the NFC South between the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers. The winner of this game will likely win the division. The Saints got caught sleeping last week against the St. Louis Rams because I believe Drew Brees and company were eyeing this game instead. In fact, I think they win this game outright today.
Where to Watch: Don't miss the game! Here is a list of where to catch the game today.
