1st Round trade to KC for 2nd and 4th
Lots of depth that we can take advantage of if there is no one we are in love with in the 1st, KC jumps up to get Matt Barkley.
2nd Round (KC) Sylvester William DT UNC
Has gotten a lot stronger going into the senior bowl, and his hands have gotten better. Good player to put some pressure up the middle and free Von and Doom
2nd Round Kyle Long OT/OG Oregon
Athletic, but a little raw. Has the ability to move to right tackle and maybe push Franklin inside, or go inside and compete with Kuper.
3rd Round Kiko Alonso ILB Oregon
Has off-field issues but have heard comparisons to Bobby Wagner from Seattle, probably not as quick in a straight line but very athletic and could take over the middle of the defense with some help from Brooking if he stays. Del Rio can also help tutor him.
4th round (KC) Tharold Simon CB LSU
Strong physical corner that will likely need some time to develop but can learn under Champ, and some day maybe compete with big receivers.
4th round Bradley McDougald FS/SS Kansas
We have been pulling a gem or two out of KU and Weiss says this kid maybe their best player. Started out as a wide receiver then moved to safety. Very athletic but will likely need some time to develop.
5th Round Zac Stacy RB Vanderbilt
Probably my favorite pick in this mock, he is build more like an MJD or Ray Rice. Strong and physical back that likes contact, I think he is an Alfred Morris late gem, but different running styles. Can catch coming out of the backfield and pass protect.
7th Round TJ Moe WR Missouri
Good hands and quickness, can learn from Stokely and hopefully take over the slot for him.
Let me know what you guys think.
