2013, A Buyers Market?

Stay connected for news and updates

It has been projected that the 2013 off season will be a "Buyers Delight", as 10 - 12 teams are close or over the cap and will be dumping veterans left and right. The huge leverage of cap space and available bucks will place some teams in a powerful position, while others will come out of the free agency period much weaker for that, and other reasons.

Fortunately, the Broncos are in a powerful position!

Teams who's front offices are not "Exceptional" could see their team take a hit this year, much worse than what they might expect. Teams who are aging who also are short in cap space will need to make some drastic cuts in order to keep pace in the talent pool. Other teams making major front office moves are going to obviously have to adjust.

Fortunately, the Broncos are in a powerful position!

Teams without a franchise QB are also going to be up against it. It appears that Seattle is in great shape. They look to have found their guy, and they have about 18 mil under the cap. San Fran found their QB but only have 4-5 mil under the cap. GB has about 7 mil cap space, and NE has Brady locked up with about 18 mil under. The Bengals have about 50 mil in cap space! Is it because the owner is greedy?

Fortunately, the Broncos are in a powerful position!

Atlanta, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Houston all seem to be in a fairly good position, but the SB winner is getting old in my opinion.

I believe we will see some significant moves in FA, non of them to costly, but with notable impact in areas of need. What do you think? I won't even guess who they may be at this point, as it is far too early to even know who all will be available.
