Hunter spent the 2012 season on the Injured Reserve list

The fourth of Denver's UFAs is defensive end Jason Hunter. As a UFA, Hunter is free to negotiate a contract with any NFL team and the Broncos are not entitled to any compensation should he sign with another team. Let's take a look at Jason:

Hunter has seven seasons in the NFL. He has spent three of those seasons with Denver. Hunter was signed as a free agent on August 20, 2010. He was informed after his signing that he would be moved from defensive end to linebacker. His modest contributions in 2010 included returning a fumble 75 yards for a touchdown in a game versus Kansas City on November 14, 2010. He was returned to the defensive end position when John Fox took over as the Broncos' head coach and did a good job filling in for Elvis Dumervil when Dumervil was sidelined with an injury. Hunter spent the 2012 season on the injured reserve list after tearing a triceps muscle during training camp.
