As I'm inclined to do each year, I optimistically think ahead to the 53 man squad and decide what needs we have to address and what GAPs we currently have in the squad. Fortunately the FO has got off to a great start in FA, but who else should they target now and in the draft

Starting OL: Clady, Beadles, Walton, Vasquez, Franklin

Back Up: Clark, GAP, Blake, Davis, GAP

These GAPs could possibly be addressed from the practice squad (Boren, Cornick) or should Kuper be kept to fight for a place (unlikely!) or would Barrett Jones be a good Draft pick to challenge Walton and Beadles for a starting place?

QB: Manning, Osweiler - the present and future sorted :-)

RB : the area of most concern - I'd drop McGahee, Moreno and Ball leaving GAP, GAP, GAP, Hillman

These GAPS will I think be filled by a veteran (who's still left?) and TWO RBs in the draft - maybe Lacey depending on any FA choice and I like Montee Ball or Le'Veon Bell in the 3rd/4th round.

TE: Dreesen, Tamme, Green, J Thomas - sorted!

WR: D Thomas, Decker, Welker (thank you!), GAP, Holliday and I think Gerrell Robinson.

I hope this GAP is filled by Ryan Swope in round 2/3

FB: Hester

DL: Wolfe, Vickerson, Knighton, GAP (if Dumervill doesn't agree a deal) - I like Domantre Moore as a 1st round pick here to fill the GAP - and RB Eddie Lacey as 1st pick if Doom signs.

DL Backup: Jackson, Unrein, GAP, Ayers/Garland - I'd like Kwane Geather in the 5th round as a future replacement and rotational player now.

LB: Miller, Bradley, Woodyard

LB Backup: Trevathan, Irving, Johnson

CB: from Bailey, Rodgers-Cromatie, Harris, Bolden

Safeties: from Moore, Carter, Bruton, GAP - maybe Gideon from the practice squad

Plus: Prater, Colquitt, Brewer

I think,except for covering the GAPs it's looking good :-)
