It is being reported via Twitter, that the Denver Broncos and Defensive End Elvis Dumervil have been able to agree on new contract terms, thus alleviating the thought of his departure. In other words, Elvis IS NOT leaving the building.
Per Adam Schefter:
Elvis Dumervil agreed to salary reduction, smartly. Remains in Denver.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 15, 2013
Albert Breer tweeted
My understanding is Elvis Dumervil agreed to cut his base salary from $12 million to $8 million for 2013.— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) March 15, 2013
And confirmed by Schefter once more.
Elvis Dumervil restructured his contract from a $12 million base salary to $8 million.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 15, 2013
