WES WELKER NEGATIVE EFFECT ON ERIC DECKER

As we all know Wes Welker signed a two year deal with our beloved Denver Broncos, But this may spell the end for Eric Decker. Eric Decker was Drafted in 2010 3rd round with the 87th overall pick in the same draft that we selected Demaryious Thomas in the first round with the 22nd overall pick. Demaryious inked 5 yr/$14,150,500 deal with $9,351,750 guaranteed. On the other hand Decker contract was for 4 yr/$3,315,150 thats a huge difference in salary and is Thomas better then Decker yes but not by much. While they were drafted Thomas has Caught 148 receptions Decker has 135. Thomas has 2,268 receiving yards Decker has 1,782. Thomas has the edge over Decker in yards after catch because as we all know Thomas is a beast. Decker on the other hand is a Possession receiver has 22 Td's and Thomas has only 16. This is where it gets interesting Eric Decker will be a free agent after this season and with Welker on our team Decker who is a big part of our Offense will be over looked. Meaning when its time to talk about his contract the broncos will try to low ball him and I'm sure Deckers Agent isn't gonna let that happen. What other team in the League wouldnt want to have Eric Decker on there team.
