Margus Hunt

Who do the Broncos select with their first pick of the draft?? Who the hell knows! Thats why this is my favorite time of the year.

If it were up to me I would select the highest rated defensive lineman or defensive back. Personally I think were set at linebacker, did anyone see McShays most recent mock?? Linebackers with our first two picks?? Utter BS in my opinion). It seems like there are plenty of mid-round backs and would be content with one any where from rounds 3-5. I'm also content to let our secondary duke it out, we did just draft Omar Bolden last year (give him a year to show his worth) but wouldn't be opposed to a DB in the second round. I also feel like I'm biased in that a defense should be built from the inside out, so that when push come to shove a defensive lineman would be better early in the draft than a defensive back.

What I'm hoping for in the draft is: Round 1 - Best D-Lineman, Round 2 - Best Defensive Back, Round 3 - Best Running Back, and after that best player available for depth purposes.

That being said, I'm wondering what people know/how they feel about Margus Hunt? Would he be too much of a reach at 28? People keep throwing out there words like athletic, explosive, long reach, dominant, and comparisons to JJ Watt. All I can think to my self is, "Damn self, it wouldn't be nice to have a dominant player like Watt in our front 4?". I hear that he's raw, and that seems like a little downside, but hell...isn't that why we have coaches? To make him better? It also seems like he would add a freakish dimension in our rotation along the d-line,

Looking forward to thoughts and opinions. Thanks fellow Broncos brethren.
