For those of you who don't know me, I used to contribute with MHR a couple of years ago. I currently run a stat-based website to satisfy my desire to study all things football.
While stats aren't everything, they do a great job of giving a quick summary or perspective of what has happened. Simply put, stats are the evidence for what we see on the field. While they may not tell the entire story, they come pretty close.
My goal here isn't to say they are more or less important than watching a game, but simply that stats can perfectly complement analysis through film study or even enjoying the game with our family and friends.
Stats can also give us a greater appreciation for what we are seeing.
My website is www.queuestats.com.
I was hoping to ask all of you here at MHR a couple of questions:
- Are any of you guys/gals interested in me contributing these stats on a weekly basis during the season and my research during the off-season?
- Are any of you guys/gals interested in helping me with the research to bring this to the MHR community?
While the workload could be completed in 1 or 2 days with even just 1 more person, it is fairly difficult to get it all done by Thursday afternoon before the first game of the following week which begins Thursday night.
I know there are plenty of great minds here and I would love to team up with as many of you as possible to make this site even better with some great analysis.
The staffers here are incredibly busy bringing great coverage and unique analysis of our Broncos so I thought I would ask everyone else if they had any interest.
Anyways, thanks. You can find my e-mail at my website.
As always, go Broncos!
