Randy Gradishar will serve as the Broncos' "NFL Great" in NYC to announce the Broncos' second- and third-round picks in this year's draft.— Denver Broncos (@DenverBroncos) April 17, 2013
The man who never missed a game in ten seasons for the Broncos (1974-1983) will continue his greatness by not missing a Denver pick on April 26th. Gradishar will be on hand to announce all of the Denver Broncos picks for day two of the NFL draft. The former Broncos' linebacker is still the only player in Denver history to be named as the Defensive Player of the Year, which he was deemed in 1978 after accumulating 286 tackles (190 solo), four interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Gradishar's 145 games straight is matched only by Hall of Fam linebacker Ted Hendricks. Gradishar has been a finalist for the Hall of Fame in 2003 and '08, as well as a semifinalist from 2005-07. He is currently a Senior Committee candidate.
