Sure, the O Line is a little wobbly right now due to injuries, but that will fix itself shortly.
I've seen several posts on here that suggest moving Beadles to center. Basically I believe that would be a terrible idea.
Ryan Lilja and Manny Ramirez can cover the center spot fine until Walton gets healthy. Manny is new at center and not going to be more than adequate at the position. Lilja looks like he might be much better once he gets in shape and has time to practice, but obviously he's not a long term solution.
Moving Beadles, who is a top 10 NFL guard or close to it, out of position into center and moving Manny into a guard spot simply weakens both positions. Manny just isn't a strong NFL guard and Beadles won't be a top 10 NFL center so why mess up both spots on the line.
Franklin doesn't look like he's in shape either. I wonder how much off season work he did? He needs to drop a few pounds and get ready to play. Hopefully the hip won't be an off again on again season long issue.
It just doesn't make sense to flip flop a bunch of people all over the place until the Oline has it's worst possible combinations. I totally agree that the Broncos have little to no depth in lineman. Beadles can handle the tackle spot in case of injury, but moving him to tackle again weakens the guard position. Hopefully it won't come to that.
The Broncos line can survive with a weaker center if the guards are strong and the tackles good.
