Broncos 52, Eagles 20: Game Balls

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

When the Broncos win, MHR Staff Members give out Game Balls! Here are our game balls following Denver's dominating 52-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Peyton Manning

Chugga Chugga Chugga Choo Choo! The Peyton Manning MVP train rolls on. Sixteen touchdowns in four games? Are we watching someone play Madden? Games like these don't grow on trees, lets stop and smell the roses Bronco Country. - Mr. East

Knowshon Moreno

6.5 yards per carry and a touchdown. When we needed yards on the ground, he got them. When we needed him to catch a ball, he did it. This guy is continuing his 2012 campaign. He is our most dependable back and a good blocker. With him in the lineup, defenses have to respect our play actions fakes which aids Manning's amazing year. - Big Pete

Demaryius Thomas

Once again, Demaryius Thomas once again notched 9 catches and two touchdowns. In four games this season, DT has 29 catches, 393 yards and 4 touchdowns. This guy shows up to play every single week and is the most underrated BEAST in this league. - Tim Lynch

The offensive line

Outside of one horrible mistake that lead to a Peyton sack, the offensive line had possibly their most complete game this season. Coming into this game they'd done good at pass blocking but struggled at opening lanes inside but this game Peyton felt little to no pressure and they opened up some big holes for the backs. It was impressive all around through all stages of the game. - Topher Doll

Chris Harris Jr.

In a secondary that gave up too many big plays, Harris played the role of shutdown corner. Not one pass was completed against him all game, in fact he was never even targeted. - Bronco Mike

Trindon Holliday

The little man is one bad bad man. Outside of Peyton Manning, he might be our biggest weapon. Holliday returned a kick return 105 yards for a touchdown. Ever since the Broncos claimed Holliday of waivers, he is a perfect 15-0 as a Broncos during the regular season. - Scotty Payne

Wesley Woodyard

A week after knocking a division rival senseless, Woodyard again had a dominating performance as captain of the Broncos' defense. The switch to middle linebacker has been seamless for Wesley, who has earned the right to be Denver's three-down linebacker, and has made the most of his opportunities. Woodyard had three hurries against Michael Vick (including a sack), and was responsible for spying on Vick for much of the game - one of the NFL's toughest tasks. - Monty

Honorable Mention

Denver's other two-touchdown man, Wes Welker, somehow escaped our Game Ball sights, much like he somehow escaped a handful of Eagles tacklers Sunday ... The offensive line already got its due, but right tackle Orlando Franklin had a sublime, nearly perfect game. He was Denver's best blocker both against the pass rush and as a run blocker.
