The Broncos promoted offensive lineman Vinston Painter from the practice squad to the active roster on Wednesday. According to the Denver Post's Mike Klis, the Broncos were forced to promote Painter because the San Francisco 49ers were trying to sign him to their own active roster. Painter, the team's sixth round draft pick in April, can't be complaining as his weekly salary has jumped to $6K to $42K. (Photo credit: CBS4 Denver)
