I was thinking about this after hearing Champ Bailey introduced as a future Hall of Famer on Mike and Mike. How many players will eventually make the Hall of Fame that play on this year's team?
Obviously, Peyton Manning will be the quickest vote in Hall of Fame history. Whoever his advocate is will probably pull the rare move of simply saying "Peyton Manning" and then sitting down without another word. No advocating will be necessary.
I presume Champ Bailey will also make it.
Outside of those two, I cannot think of another player we can be reasonably assured at this point will be voted in. Some players are young and might eventually earn such lofty status. It seems really hard for a receiver to get in, so that hurts our best receiver's chances (DT, obviously). Von Miller is the most talented on the team, but he has also displayed a certain level of immaturity that could prevent him from realizing that full potential.
Who do you think has already earned it outside of Champ and Peyton? Who do you think will eventually earn it before he retires?
