The Denver Bronco 2013 has been a year to never forget up to this point. Unfortunately it's also a year to make you remember the past. The past that was a not so long 12 months ago today. Bronco Fanaticism was at an all time high. Dreams of grandeur and hopes that simply could not be limited.
United in Orange Pep Rally's, Fed Ex Award Winners announced, Comeback Player of The Year Awards, and a Playoff push that would not include a matchup against the Bronco Killer Peyton Manning. The stars had alligned and every thing was as familiar as the 1998 Super Bowl 33 Team of dominance. The Bronco's riding an 11 game winning streak simply could not be stopped but rather only hoped to contain. Then, without any notice sunny skies of optimism became swallowed by a cold front of anxiety and misery.
Then it happened! The INEVITABLE. The perfect formula for an upset. What seemed like all year, a repeat of the Super Bowl Champion seasons ended up being an unfortunate repeat of the very unforgettable 1996 season. I don't need to say much more. But what I will do is leave you with this link, so moving forward you can understand just how much last years lost is still sticking with OUR beloved Bronco players 100 gazillion times more than it ever could as a fan. They can say "Remember the Chargers" all they want to, but in the pit of their stomach leading up to the game every player still on the team from last year will have that feeling of INCOMPREHENSIBLE DEMORALIZATION
Here's to broken promises of not getting so emotionally involved, wearing of lucky sweaters and hats, and ritualistic yet superstitious pregame activities!! Cheer's to witnessing the #1 Regular Season Offense of All Time!! But more importantly. Here's to hoping they never want to feel that way a gazillion more times than US.
Btw this is my first attempt to ever blog in my life so any constructive criticism would be much appreciated. Thanks and oh yeah......... GO BRONCOS!!!!!
