The desire of Champ?

Now my memory may be fading and I'll be the first to admit that I tend to block out all Bronco losses, but back in the 2005/06 AFC Championship game, didn't Champ nearly pick Rothlisberger? I seem to remember Champ reacting to the ball well, but just not making the catch. Again, that could just be my take and my high expectations of Champ, but that's whats stuck in my memory.

Now DBs, as we're reminded every week by every pundit, need to have a short memory, but I wonder if that kind of play stays with you?

The week before, Champ had that wonderful pick of Brady.

Of course, we had the playoff game with Timmy T, but in his last real chance at the playoffs, there was that dropped pass.

As we all know, Champ is just on his way back, to a different role. But, I'm wondering, hoping, that the passion and desire is burning within Champ for this playoff run. Getting fit, just in time for the playoff run, he has to be thinking 'this is it, this is my best chance of getting to the SB.

Just another musing as we get closer and closer to the game.
