The Denver Broncos' offense is in for one of its toughest challenges of the 2014 season in Week 12: the NFL's 2nd-ranked defense, the Miami Dolphins.

"The hardest part is staying patient in this game and not getting frustrated," said Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase. "If you get knocked off the field a couple times on third down, you just know you're going to have to reload and come back the next series and be ready to go again and try to put one together. This is probably one of the better defenses we've seen since Seattle. This whole group-they are really good. They are good on the back end, the linebacking core is playing excellent and that front is tough. It's going to be a challenge for us this weekend. They are not the second-ranked defense in the NFL for no reason. They've been playing really well, especially lately."
Their offense, led by third-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill, is no joke either.
"This is a huge game right here," Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said. "Playing the Dolphins, they've got a good team, watching them on film. They've got a lot of weapons. They do some dangerous stuff on offense, so we've got to make sure [we are ready] mentally. Communication has to be on point this game. We can't beat ourselves."
Game time
Kickoff at Sports Authority Field at Mile High is set for Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:25 p.m. Mile High time.

Fun fact
Remember Tim Tebow? The Dolphins sure do. The last time these two teams played was in 2011, when Tebow made a 15-point comeback with under three minutes to play to force overtime. Then Matt Prater nailed an overtime field goal, and the Broncos won, 18-15. At that moment, Tebowmania was in full swing.
Injury report
The Broncos will be without running backs Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman, so they called up Jeremy Stewart from their practice squad, waiving Kapri Bibbs. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) is probable; tight ends Julius Thomas (ankle) and Virgil Green (calf) are each questionable.
