Poll: Great Talent requres Great Leadership to Win SB's

First things first, I hope with all my optimism that our Broncos win SB49.

IMO, great talent requires great leadership who can inspire his players to produces and who arouse excitement & confidence in their play on and off the field. Bill
Belichick and John Fox seem similar at first glance but, Bill Belichick reflects tough hard nose coaching & leadership that gains respect & confidence from his players and peers, 11 straight Division Titles say so. Our coach John Fox with 4 straight Division titles is without doubt a good coach but, any comparison to Belichick stop there. Coach John Fox IMO lacks the key leadership traits needed to win Super Bowls. Nothing personal it's what history teaches us about winning Super Bowls it's tough as hell to reach the big party you need players & coaches on the same page as the HC.

The few who have reached the SB more than once and won the Lombardi trophy all seem to have one thing in common great leadership traits that inspire good players to play great and great talented players to reach their highest level at the SB. For John Elway it was Mike Shanahan & Owner Pat Bowlen who inspired him. Tom Brady and Bilichick & Robert Kraft; Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll (and still winning) & Paul Allen; Ben Roethlisberger and Bill Cowher / Mike Tomlin & Rooney Family to name a few examples.

I've been a Broncos fan since 1960 and attended our first SB victory in Qualcomm in San Diego site of SB 32 I'm hoping to experience that thrilling moment again in Arizona come February 2nd.

Since the Rams game and watching our team's ugly 4-game winning streak my confidence was on a high and winning our remaining games felt highly possible and 3rd Lombardi Trophy on the horizon. Winning SB 49 would be special for both Elway & Pat Bowlen a winning combination.

During the season I was critical of our coaching staff and in particular Coach John Fox because of his conservative coaching style which IMO cost us at least one Lombardi. IMO he's a soft approach coach and his players play soft and are easily dominated by physical teams.

After watching the Bengals completely dominate every phase of the game on MNF I'm frustrated and simply exasperated by Coach John Fox leadership. I think he's a good teacher / coach but not someone who can lead his team to Super Bowl victory. eg; Dan Reeves, Marty Schottenheimer, and Marv Levy.

I'm sad for Peyton Manning who will miss out matching his brother Eli's two SB victories. Even more sad John Elway will miss his goal to win the Lombardi for owner Pat Bowlen if they don't win in Arizona. Not sure how long it will take our Broncos to recovery from this season if we lose the chance to play in SB 49. (5, 10, 15 years?) The orange & blue cool-aid isn't helping me today.
