Notice: Mock Draft Contest

The Second Annual MHR Mock Draft Contest is just 60 days away!

WHAT?

WoW, that's a long way away, and I have no doubt that we will see at least a thousand mocks on here before then, but May 1st, 2014 is one week prior to the draft, and that's when we will have seen all the posturing, the rising and the falling of talent, settle down. That's also after we've seen what Digger & sbs got for us from the free agency pool this year.

To recap last year:

That's right, Digger24 & sbsbroncofan Won the GM of the Year, by tieing with two correct picks apiece. That's why you've seen them walking around MHR this year with a lot of swagger!

They switched off as the Broncos GM & HC on alternate weeks, and they seemed to do a pretty good job if you ask me. They got us to the SB so I was pretty happy about that!

But, if I ever find out which one was HC during the SB I'm going get our CFA's from this years draft to tar and feather them. That was a lame duck that showed up for that game! No excuses this year.

ElwayFanJ was OC this year for his selection of Zac Dysert (He did reach a bit on that pick), and jshaw546 held the DC responsibilities by selecting Quanterus Smith in the correct round.

We had some assistant coaches as well. Risky, coached the D-line; WillyBFree2Bronc, the LB's & ultraclassic04, coached the DB's this year. I think we should all let these guys know what we think of the job they did this year.

I think WillyBFree2Bronc is still pissed off at Von for screwing up his groups production this year, and I've heard him mention he wants a MLB as a high pick this year, or was it a FA that he wants.

This years categories will be:

GM, Director of Player Personnel, HC, OC, DC etc. and we'll see which of the guys from last year lose their jobs.

If you remember last year, you'll be able to post as many mocks as you like in the contest, until you think you have it right, but it's only the last mock that you post that counts.

Is the off season over yet? No? ;-(
